To access the wireless network you need to have two pieces if information:

  1. SSID (network name)
  2. Login name and password for the SSID.

SSID:

There is only two SSID available for the CSUDH wireless network. The SSID that you will use depends on the type of user you are. Please use the following table to use the correct SSID for your access:

SSID name

Type of user

student

For CSUDH students

staff

For CSUDH faculty/staff

Note: please make sure to type the SSID in lower case.

Username/Password:

After using the correct SSID, you will need a username and a password to get access to the wireless network. If you are a student, you will need the username (student ID) and password that you receive during registration. If you are a faculty/staff, you will need your Active Directory or E-mail username and password.

Note: Please make sure to use correct user id/password for the correct SSID. For example: if you are a student your username and password will work if you chose student as the SSID. Similarly, if you are a faculty/staff, your username and password will only work if you chose staff as the SSID.
